What is ThunderPhone?
ThunderPhone is an integrated phone‑AI platform. We combine speech, planning, and synthesis in a single optimized stack — mixing commercial and open‑source models where each performs best. The result is high task success, low latency, and excellent cost efficiency.
Setup is intentionally simple: provide your prompt and select a voice. We handle turn‑taking, barge‑in, and robust data capture out of the box, with an easy path to custom integrations and telephony.

Team & story
We’re a team of Y Combinator and Stanford AI Lab alumni that have been working on voice AI since 2024. While implementing a call center AI for a demanding enterprise client, we found that none of the off‑the‑shelf tools were good enough — but we had a strong idea of how to build a better tool for automating calls with AI.
After months of development, ThunderPhone is the result, and we’re excited to be launching publicly soon.
